Rare, vintage Dougal the Dog plush toy in its original retail display box from the children's television series The Magic Roundabout. Manufactured in 1993 by Golden Gifts.
Dougal features his iconic, long pale-yellow woollen hair, a soft beige face, and a large black plush nose. Stitched near his ear is a fabric banner displaying his legendary, melodramatic catchphrase: "Nobody loves me - Dougal!"
The toy sits beautifully inside its original yellow and blue cardboard presentation box, complete with the large, vibrant pink and yellow "The Magic Roundabout" carousel-shaped header card intact.
Condition:
Excellcent vintage condition. The plush toy itself is exceptionally clean with no matting to the woollen hair. The cardboard display box is structurally sound with bright colors, showing only minimal shelf wear consistent with age. A fantastic center-piece for any serious British TV memorabilia collection.
