Players and Equipment: It's a game designed for any number of players, requiring just three dice and a cup. One player takes on the role of the Banker.
Betting: Players can confidently stake money on a variety of outcomes from the roll of the dice, including:
Specific triples (e.g., three 6s), boasting impressive odds of 180 to 1.
Any triple, with generous odds of 30 to 1.
Specific totals of the three dice (from 4 to 17), with varying odds clearly displayed on the board.
Even Chances: Players can also bet on outcomes with even odds, such as:
"MANQUE": total from 4 to 10 inclusive.
"PASSE": total from 11 to 17 inclusive.
"PAIR": an even total.
"IMPAIR": an odd total.
Individual Number Appearance: Players can confidently stake that a selected number (from 1 to 6) will appear on at least one of the three dice.
This game, produced by Chad Valley, holds the Royal Warrant, dating it between 1938 to 1952. It is believed to originate from the late 30s to 40s judging by its components. The three dice are made from butterscotch celluloid, making this a truly luxurious game for its time.
